In what was a wild finish at Memorial, BG was able to hang on for a road win, 74-73. The Crusaders had an opportunity to win off a steal but a contested layup attempt rolled off the rim just before time expired.
Memorial used a 23-14 4th quarter to bring this game back behind solid performances by Craig Preston who had 14 and Trevon Moughn who put in 12 points.
Bishop Guertin was let by Joe Marandola and Kyle Gavin who both had huge games scoring 30 and 23 respectively. Guertin improves to 7-1 and stays near the top of the D-I standings while Memorial falls to the middle of the pack at 3-4.
