Week 1 is upon us in both the High School and the NFL and as I sit here and watch a rain delay (that's not a rain delay) in Denver I can't help but wonder if this type of weather would keep the NH kids off the field...
We'd be remisced if we didn't mention 2012 winner WTSNs Justin McIsaac who gleefully devoured his wings (without sharing!) and enjoyed several a cold beverage at the famous Auburn Pitts last December after earning the season-long victory in our Staff Picks pool. Congrats McIsaac, its a new year, we're all in first place tonight so don't count your chicken wings just yet.
So with that, we've got our first Staff Picks for 2013 teed up and ready to go so instead of waiting for the "go" from Hampton (our Editor in Chiefs hometown), I'm making an executive decision to push these predictions live at 9:02 pm Thursday Night.
