NHsportspage Division IV All-State Selections sponsored by Crosstown Motors
2016-03-22
Littleton is your undefeated Division IV Champion
By Dave Haley
We begin a very busy week with all-state selections for all four divisions followed by our annual statewide power rankings that takes a look back at the past four months and ahead to next season.
We will then have Jennifer Chick’s Championship Saturday video, a two part final Thursday Thoughts column, coverage of the 2016 Seacoast Basketball tournament and our two year end highlight videos; broken up into regular season highlights and tournament highlights.
With an active campaign to try to bring High school Girls Basketball coverage to NHsportspage next season we are allowing people to register for the $50 rate we offered during our early bird registration. That price will go up as we’ve stated but we did not want our Girls basketball supporters paying more than the $50 we have offered our players, parents, coaches & readers.
Here is the feedback I have gotten from people in Plymouth, Manchester and Durham over the past three weeks and 22 games; People don’t seem to understand they’ll have no access to the site and all of these videos.
So we want to make it clear: If you register now for only $50 you have FULL ACCESS through all of next season. If you do not you will come to the site sometime soon and be locked out. The price to then get back in will be in the $150 range. We obviously want all of you getting all of the coverage you’ve come to enjoy.
This is a necessary move to not only continue as a website team of six people but to expand our coverage to the kids & coaches who absolutely deserve it.
I’ve had dozens of players ask me to make sure we cover them next season yet those kids & their parents have not registered. So we are keeping the price at $50 for the short term but you need to register to even follow our coverage and have access to the 70 games we just covered this season.
If you love the coverage provided by our team and you want to continue to visit NHsportspage in the future, you are a one minute registration and a onetime cost of $50 from being set through next (2017) season.

Today we recognize the top performances in Division IV basketball for the 2015-16 season.
NHsportspage First Team All-State
Matt Tenney of Sunapee
Trey Carrier of Wilton-Lyndeborough
Kuba Kubkowski of Littleton
Kylani LaFleur of Portsmouth Christian
Logan Briggs of Littleton
Second Team All-State
Cam Darrah of Pittsfield
Sedrick McKinnon of Colebrook
Jaret Bemis of Woodsville
Corey Gadwah of Groveton
Ian Bentley of Newmarket
Third Team All-State
My Man Colby Wilson of Epping
Jackson Rivers of Epping
Derek Maccini of Woodsville
Sam Anderson of Derryfield
Daegan Lurvey of Groveton
Comments: I’m not a fan of ballots without explanations, so here are mine. First team was a fairly easy group to pick, Briggs emerged as the best rim protector in the division and that knocked McKinnon & Darrah back to second. Bemis is a first team offensive player but Maccini is just as valuable. The strength of Jamie Walker’s team was how well they took care of the basketball and that was Maccini. Leaving My Man Colby Wilson off second was really difficult but at the end of the season the five on second team earned those spots.
Player of the Year: Matt Tenney of Sunapee
I can’t even count how many coaches commented on how much better he made his teammates, all while scoring 22 points a game until Giggles came back.
Runner-up: Kuba Kubkowski
Coach of the Year: Mark Collins of Groveton
For the job he has done with this group the past three years. Groveton is going to be one of the favorites to win it all next season but they won’t do it until they can consistently score in the half court. The summer begins now.
Runner-up: Jamie Walker of Woodsville
The all-Angry Email team (players that could have made the top three all-state teams but didn't and angry emails will be written to say just that...)
Paul Staude of Portsmouth Christian
Shaun Bradley of Portsmouth Christian

Cy Kezarian of Littleton
