The Portsmouth Clippers hung with the defending champs during the first half but Pinkerton's size and depth proved to be too much in the second half.
Pinkerton's Brett Dattillo rushed for 166 yards and three touchdown's. While Portsmouth QB Cody Graham had another solid night, throwing for 211 yards in the losing effort. Pinkerton goes to 2-0 while Portsmouth drops to 0-2.
